Begin here
Whoever you are, this is the place to start.
You may be curious, skeptical, wounded, or already walking with Christ. Wherever you are, Scripture speaks with clarity and kindness. Here is where to begin.
First
Hear the gospel of Jesus Christ
The Christian message is not primarily advice or self-improvement. It is news — news about God, about us, and about what Jesus Christ has done.
God is holy, good, and the rightful Lord of all he has made. He is worthy of worship, trust, and obedience.
We have all turned away from him — in thought, word, and deed. Scripture calls this sin, and its just penalty is separation from God.
Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, became man, lived a perfectly righteous life, died on the cross bearing the punishment sin deserves, and rose again from the dead in bodily victory over sin and death.
The response Scripture calls for is repentance and faith — turning from sin and trusting Christ alone as Savior and Lord.
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.”
