Discipleship Path
A clear next step at every stage.
The Christian life is not a ladder to climb or a course to finish — it is a walk with Christ for a lifetime. But Scripture does show a real direction, and this is how we describe it.
- 01
Hear the Gospel
Understand who Jesus Christ is, why he came, and what he calls every person to.
- The character of God and the reality of sin
- The person and work of Jesus Christ
- Repentance and faith
- 02
Believe and Follow
Trust Christ alone for salvation and begin walking with him as Lord.
- Assurance of salvation
- Baptism and public confession
- Joining a faithful local church
- 03
Build Biblical Foundations
Learn how to read Scripture carefully and think biblically about life.
- How the Bible is structured and interpreted
- The gospel across the whole storyline of Scripture
- Core Christian doctrine
- 04
Grow in Christlike Character
Put sin to death and put on the character of Christ by the Spirit.
- Prayer, Scripture, and repentance as daily rhythms
- The fruit of the Spirit in real life
- Facing suffering with hope
- 05
Serve the Church
Use your gifts to strengthen the body of Christ in your local church.
- Membership and accountability
- Serving and hospitality
- Encouraging others in the faith
- 06
Make Disciples
Help others follow Jesus with the same seriousness and care.
- Sharing the gospel clearly
- Discipling one another in the Word
- Raising up the next generation
A caution
Growth is God's work, worked out in real life.
These stages are descriptive, not a checklist that earns anything from God. Sanctification is by grace, through faith, in the context of a local church, over a lifetime.
